Once a card is selected, the auction will start. You are set against 3 other players, bidding on the same card. The goal is to be the “last man standing” the one with the highest bid when every other player has folded. Or if things drag for too long, or higher than what you can afford, to simply buy the property out, with diamonds.
In case another player wins the auction, your bid is fully reimbursed.
